Mario & PETA, Concert Wif Da’ Bros.

Hey guys! Sorry I couldn’t post, I’m just lazy and can’t think of anything to write, and I also have school (to much if you ask me). But I am back with two very interesting stories!

Yesterday was my friends birthday, and she invited me to go to a concert with her  and another friend, Daniel. The concert was at the Riverside Theatre. So we went, and I didn’t know that this would happen, but we got VIP passes! This meant that we got front-row seats on the balcony, and we got to go into the dressing room and meet the band, the Avett Brothers, and eat cake with them to celebrate! It was awesome, being my first concert. So after hanging in the dressing room, we went to our seats for the opening act, and it was this band called “Parade” (I think), and it was pretty funny. The main guitarist/vocalist was doing all these funny moves and he would play one note and shake his butt! Then the main event came on, which lasted until 11:00. It was really good, but the guy playing the bass wasn’t even in the band, and one of the REAL band members disappeared after continuously dropping his hat and glasses. After it was over, we cheered for like five minutes and they did two more songs! The cool thing was, when they were switching songs, they would pluck their guitars and stuff, and they plucked happy birthday for my friend, and tried saying “hi” to her, and she didn’t even notice! It was pretty cool, except my other friend who went barely talked at all.

Now, we all know PETA. And I didn’t mind them all too much, even though they went a bit extreme with their beliefs. Now recently, they took it to a whole new level.

Mario has been around for awhile, and one of the best power-ups was the “Tanooki Suit”, which allows you to fly! A Tanooki is actually a raccoon/dog, and they are really cute! But because Mario has the “Tanooki Suit”, they assumed that it was made out of real Tanooki fur. So now they have a whole page called “Mario Kills Tanooki”. And they tried to make Mario fans not like Mario anymore. Well, Nintendo says to them, “So? Who cares?”. Because they (and hopefully all of us too) know that is NOT true. So then PETA looks stupid, so to cover that up, they say “Oh, we were just kidding.” Wow.

I know what your thinking. “Ovs, you are the most insane person I have ever met!” But it is true. I found this link like two minutes ago, and I have just been reading this for awhile and I can’t believe that Apple would let this slip up! So, here is a website link:

Japan (日本の) | Steve Jobs *sniff* | iPhone 4S | SM: TCA Trailers!

As you may or may not know, I am obsessed with Japan! I love the music, the art, the scenery, zen gardens, Nintendo, everything! I am learning the language through Google Translate, and I am teaching myself how to draw manga-anime with my friend (who calls herself Miku on DA) as an influence, and many other references. I am also listening to a type of Japanese pop music made entirely out of computer programs called Vocaloids, and I love the artwork (photography) of Japan, and the way Zen gardens look is just amazing. And lets not forget Nintendo; the big “N” has been around since the 19th century bringing us the card game “Hanafuda”. (I think I spelled it right!) I did spell it right, and Nintendo continued with bringing the greatest games like Mario. Here is a Japanese music video with Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Len Kagamine, and Luka:

Steve Jobs was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer in 2004. Fighting it over the years, he got thinner and thinner, and got weaker and weaker. And on Wednesday, he passed away because of cancer. I cannot fathom the world without this man. I am still thinking about it now, I thought about it over the weekend, and I just can’t get it out of my head. I really miss him, and wish he was still alive to give us the great Apple products he gave us before.

On Tuesday, Apple announced the iPhone 4S. Which is disappointing to many considering that not much is new. They fixed the antenna problem by adding two more inside, for better reception. It also has a re-designed camera, and Siri, your intelligent “humble” assistant. The camera takes pretty good shots, but from the Keynote, I couldn’t tell much of a difference because it was a presentation. Hopefully the iPhone 5 will be better.

Well, its been over a month, and I haven’t been posting in forever. My life has been filled to the brim with stuff, and I can’t explain it all, so I’ll go over the highlights.

iPhone 5 is coming soon and the event where said product is being announced has an invite that looks like the image above. The image shows four icons from the iPhone that tell you the time, date, and place. The event will take place (I’m telling you because you couldn’t tell from this image) in Cupertino, CA. I want you to tell me the time/date of the event (I don’t know what the phone symbol is there for, so ignore it) by looking at the app symbols.

 

Social networking is a big thing nowadays. I have grown accustomed to it, as I assume you all have too. I have a deviantART account (click on the image), and also a Google + account (click on the image, don’t use G+ often).

Super Mario: The Complete Adventure

Well, today I did a lot of work on the computer. I came up with a new name for my SMBX episode, and a new logo (above). I reposted a bunch of stuff on the SMBX forums (Oh, stop talking about tech stuff, it hurts!!!) and some other stuff. The point is (Finally! It’ll be over soon!), I made a bunch of new stuff for SMBX, and people like it!

Well, I was beginning work on the We’re Rawsome UR MOM trailer, and it was loading some clips for it. I started dragging the loading window, and this happened:

An update to the menu where you pick a page has taken place. Poll-o-rama was updated recently, so it is the only page there. The “Awesometubechannel” thing is a link to they’re website. “Sparky & Spikey” takes you to they’re website. And the last two, “TanookiSuitTech” and “NewSuperMarioBros.2″ are my two tech websites. TanookiSuitTech is a website that gives you full range tech info. And New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a page for my SMBX episode I am working on!

We’re Rawsome Tin!!!

Weird Teenagers Wearing Girls’ Clothes In a Store at Germanfest??? Wha?

Today was probably the strangest day ever hanging out with friends. But let me get you up to speed with the rest of my life.

First, We’re Rawsome Tin!!!! is finally uploaded, after 2 months of filming and a week of editing. Its pretty “rawsome”! You should check it out sometime. And RanDUMB Rawsomeness has its own website!

Also, I went to a Brewers game, and it was lots o’ fun! We ate some food, watched the game, it was interesting. We saw lots of outfielders jumping, trying to reach the ball, and there we’re a couple of people that got kicked out! The Brewers won so its all good in da hood.

After the Brewer’s game, we head to Germanfest for more snacking and watched this one German band, and they we’re really good.

Now for today’s story. I called my friends, and a picnic was planned. We biked over to my other friends’ house to see if they we’re available, and when we rang the doorbell, they came out saying “WE LOVE YOU!!!” This is because they we’re bored and didn’t know what to do. So we went to the park, and we start eating, sharing food, jokes, stories, and things we saw on TV. Then we hear thunder and start panicking. We call our parents, telling them we’re going to hang at so-and-so’s house and such, waiting for someone to pick up my friend, Adam. So we go to Marika’s house and hang for awhile. Then we do a fashion show. And then we dared ourselves to go out in public in the ridiculous outfits. So we went to the store wearing girls’ clothes, get a snack and walk home in them.
