Ice-Skating, Friends, Haters, Pizza!

Hey guys! I know I don’t post often but I know you don’t mind much! Anyways, I did a lot in the last few weeks, so lets hear it!

First, I went ice-skating with my brother’s Cub Scout den/troop thing, and that was okay, but my feet hurt a lot, and I was freezing! It was fun though!

Also, friends were (and always are) a big part of my weekend! For instance, we just had a four-day weekend, and it was jam-packed with all kinds of filming and digital singing! What a combo!

To go along with the friends thing, my friend from school, Kalob, has the same route as I do to walk home, and so sometimes he hangs out at our house! It’s always fun!

Now for the sad part of this story. There is a hater out there with a name I shall not say (because I’d have to clean my mouth for weeks) who keeps spamming my pages for attention, but we should all ignore her, and maybe the bug will go away!

PIZZA! Everyone loves pizza! We had lots of pizza during this time, and that’s fine with me!

 

New UTAUloid Website

Random Shtuff to Talk About (because I’m bored)…

Wazzup, homies?! I have had a lot go on, and haven’t posted in awhile, so lets catch up!

First off, I use DeviantArt WAY more than WordPress, so you might want to go to this link: http://ovs2007.deviantart.com/ for more recent updates and such! I love uploading art so that is the place to be!

Second, AwesomeTubeChannel (http://youtube.com/user/awesometubechannel) has been going smoother than the end of last year, and we plan on arriving in two weeks with a fresh start that Season 2 will bring. Well guys, it’s almost the new year, so get ready for the end of the world! Just kidding, I don’t believe in that garbage, but I did when the movie came out. Now I just skip to the parts when the world crumbles, because it looks cool! But enjoy this drawing that my friend made that has my character in it! (She is the striped one)

Arisu – Chan Getting a Voice!?

Okay, I know that made no sense to you, so let me get you up to speed.

I made a “VOCALOID” character (that means a character that is part of a program that can sing), named Arisu Kotone (or sense she is a girl, her name would be ‘Arisu – Chan) [Chan meaning little girl, it is formal in Japan], and she is Japanese.

Now, I have a program called UTAU, which is a free fan-made software based off of VOCALOID, so I will be using this to create the songs. I think we all know I won’t be the voice actor (the program needs a real voice base) for the character, so my friend will! It will take awhile though, because I will need 135 second-long samples. And I will have to put the songs together, and make music for them. Be prepared though, because I am excited!!!!! See ya!

Sparky & Spikey is NOT Over.

Many of you might think that because Sparky & Spikey’s blog hasn’t gotten updated, and that there are no more comics, doesn’t mean that it is dead. In fact, it just got updated! So go enjoy as they announce the re-arrival of Sparky & Spikey!

R.I.P. Stella

My cousin’s dog Stella died today…

She was an energetic yet plump black lab. She loved playing fetch and running around in the open fields of my cousin’s farm. There is one special memory that will stick with me forever.

We all had went on a trailer ride, with hay stacked on the trailer where everyone sat, awaiting the arrival of the pond. When we left, Stella ran right by the side  of the tractor and through the wood to the open field. When she burst out of the wood, she was covered with burs. She had a bur crown on top, and my cousin and I started joking, saying Stella was Bur-ger Queen.

Before she died, she had cancer that grew a tumor in her leg, making it hard for her to walk. Whenever I walked up to her to pet her, she always waged her tail and gave me the biggest smile I’d ever seen on a dog. I will never forget that.

R.I.P. Stella

She had lived to be the age of 11.

All my sympathy goes to my cousins.

Some Ideas For the Wii U, Gobble Gobble to U Too!

I know, I know. This isn’t the most exciting post for many of us, but I thought I would share this with you all anyways. :p

MarioKart: MarioKart is a great game; a great party game at that. I think there is major potential for this game on the Wii U with the new controller. First off, the console would have to support more than one tablet controller and at least two Wii remotes. So this is how I thought it work:

So, I thought this game would be like MarioKart: Double Dashers from the GameCube, where there would be two characters per kart; one with the Wii U controller, and one with the Wii Remote. The one with the Wii U tab would control all the power-ups and could move the controller around him (gyroscope) and get a view of what’s around him, and warn the driver (Wii Remote) or take aim and shoot shells and shtuff. The Wii U controller would also be able to help double the speed and turn better with a push of a button.

Mario Series: Mario is (in my opinion) the greatest game character EVER. The reason I like the series is the type of game it is (platformer). But more specifically, I love Super Mario Bros. 3, from 1991. It was awesome. But after that, they just went straight to Super Mario World and so on. I think they should revisit the classics for a change, and create a new 8-bit Super Mario Bros. 4.

Another game that was already announced, but was strictly named a “Demo only” at E3 2011, was New Super Mario Bros. Mii. This game allowed you to play as your Mii in the Mushroom Kingdom. Cool, right? Well, it sure is, and they should make a game out of it. I mean, how hard could it be?

FlipNote Studio: They NEED to make FlipNote for Wii U. I really want to play it, but I can’t have a 3DS or a DSi, so my only hope is that it comes on the Wii U. Which, I think, would make a lot of sense.

Controller Design: They should also update the controller and make it look better. Now I’m not saying I don’t like the design, but I had a cooler idea for the design. I can’t really explain it though, but “Oh, well!”

By the way, Happy Thanksgiving! Me and my friends had to write a rap about Thanksgiving, and present it, and it went terrible!

Mario & PETA, Concert Wif Da’ Bros.

Hey guys! Sorry I couldn’t post, I’m just lazy and can’t think of anything to write, and I also have school (to much if you ask me). But I am back with two very interesting stories!

Yesterday was my friends birthday, and she invited me to go to a concert with her  and another friend, Daniel. The concert was at the Riverside Theatre. So we went, and I didn’t know that this would happen, but we got VIP passes! This meant that we got front-row seats on the balcony, and we got to go into the dressing room and meet the band, the Avett Brothers, and eat cake with them to celebrate! It was awesome, being my first concert. So after hanging in the dressing room, we went to our seats for the opening act, and it was this band called “Parade” (I think), and it was pretty funny. The main guitarist/vocalist was doing all these funny moves and he would play one note and shake his butt! Then the main event came on, which lasted until 11:00. It was really good, but the guy playing the bass wasn’t even in the band, and one of the REAL band members disappeared after continuously dropping his hat and glasses. After it was over, we cheered for like five minutes and they did two more songs! The cool thing was, when they were switching songs, they would pluck their guitars and stuff, and they plucked happy birthday for my friend, and tried saying “hi” to her, and she didn’t even notice! It was pretty cool, except my other friend who went barely talked at all.

Now, we all know PETA. And I didn’t mind them all too much, even though they went a bit extreme with their beliefs. Now recently, they took it to a whole new level.

Mario has been around for awhile, and one of the best power-ups was the “Tanooki Suit”, which allows you to fly! A Tanooki is actually a raccoon/dog, and they are really cute! But because Mario has the “Tanooki Suit”, they assumed that it was made out of real Tanooki fur. So now they have a whole page called “Mario Kills Tanooki”. And they tried to make Mario fans not like Mario anymore. Well, Nintendo says to them, “So? Who cares?”. Because they (and hopefully all of us too) know that is NOT true. So then PETA looks stupid, so to cover that up, they say “Oh, we were just kidding.” Wow.
